Fahmida Nabi’s 16th solo album this month

After releasing her debut album in 1989, audience-admired singer Fahmida Nabi has presented 15 solo albums to the audience till now. This time around, she is going to release her 16th solo album this month.

DhakaLive has news that Fahmida Nabi’s new album is coming up with a surprise for the audience that a song tuned by late noted music composer, music director and singer Lucky Akhand has been featured in this album. Lucky had tuned the song titled ‘Bishonnata Diona Amay’ for Fahmida Nabi many years ago, which was written by Golam Morshed. But due to some reasons, it was not possible for Fahmida to sing the song. Finally, she will present this long-awaited song through her 16th solo album.  

Meanwhile, the recording of eight songs for the album has already been completed in Om Studio in Kolkata, India. All the songs are written by Golam Morshed, while four songs have been tuned by Nipo, one song is tuned by Sajib Das and two of the songs are tuned by Fahmida Nabi herself. Fahmida informed that the album is expected to be released in this mid-July.

Fahmida said about her new album, “Lucky Akhand had tuned the song 15 years ago. But due to various reasons, I could not be able to lend my vocal to the song. Finally, I have sung the song paying respect to Lucky Akhand, and now it gives me a sense of peace in my mind. Besides, a few other songs were done at the same time. As a result, the tune of the songs was in my head. While singing the songs, I felt these songs are very close to my heart. I firmly believe the songs of the album will be admired by the audience.”

The music arrangement of all the songs have been done by Ashu Chakraborty, Fahmida Nabi informed DhakaLive.
