PM meets President Hamid

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina made a courtesy call on President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban yesterday evening, reports UNB.

The Prime Minister exchanged Eid greetings with the President. President's Press Secretary Joynal Abedin briefed reporters after the meeting.

The PM, as head of the government, apprised the head of the state of the outcomes of her recent visit to Sweden and also the national budget for the 2017-18 fiscal year passed in Parliament on Thursday.

Hasina reached Bangabhaban at 7:46 pm. On her arrival, she was received by President Abdul Hamid.

Secretaries concerned and high officials of both the President and Prime Minister's offices were present.
