The government has appointed Samina Naz as the next ambassador of Bangladesh to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, reports BSS.
Samina Naz, a career diplomat of 15th BCS (Foreign Affairs), joined Bangladesh Foreign Service in 1995 and currently she is serving as the Deputy High Commissioner at the Bangladesh Deputy High Commission in Mumbai, India, a Foreign Ministry statement said in Dhaka yesterday.
In her distinguished diplomatic career, she served at the Bangladesh Embassy in The Hague, Netherlands, Bangladesh Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York and Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi.
Samina Naz did her Masters of Social Science in International Relations from the University of Dhaka. She attended several professional training courses at home and abroad, and represented Bangladesh in numerous bilateral and multilateral meetings.
