Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police yesterday arrested six members of a doping gang from Moghbazar area in the capital. Talking to The Independent, Additional Deputy Police Commissioner AKM Jahagir Alam of DMP (Media) said, the arrested were identified as Abdul Halim, Jewel, Liton, Sagor, Ruhul Amin and Rajib. “We also seized huge amount of medicine which are used for making the victims senseless,” he said.
