Youth gets life for rape

A court in Bhola convicted and sentenced a youth to life term imprisonment and fined Tk one lakh for raping a girl. The judgment was announced on Sunday.
The case in brief is that the convict –Shamim-- entered the house of the girl and raped her on April 27, 2013.
Later, the victim filed a rape case with Borhanuddin police station. The police have subsequently submitted a charge-sheet accusing the Shamim of violating the girl. After examining the witnesses and documents the district Session’s Judge AKM Johurul Alam issued the
judgment.
