The London Metropolitan Police yesterday confirmed that the man who died in a terror attack in front of the Finsbury Mosque in London several days ago is a British-Bangladeshi, reports UNB.
He was identified as Makram Ali, 51, and originally from Sylhet and he died of multiple injuries. His family issued a statement saying they did not want any retaliation but for everyone to pray for peace, according to Bangladesh High Commission in London.
Makram was the only death in the incident and few others were being treated in hospitals.
