The government in collaboration with global cyber security and tech giants is going to organise an international cyber security conference in the capital on March 9 aiming to take a coordinated initiative to check the alarming rise of cyberattacks causing disruption in online activities and financial loss, officials said, reports UNB.
They said Leveraging ICT for Growth, Employment and Governance (LICT) of ICT Division, US based Fire Eye, CISCO, CA Technologies and Microsoft and Norway based NRD CS will jointly organize the conference at the auditorium of Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC).
State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak will inaugurate the conference, which is expected to be attended by diplomats, foreign cyber security experts and government officials.
