The much-anticipated ‘Jazz & Blues Festival Dhaka 2017’ is all set to kick off tomorrow at the rooftop of the Le Meridien Dhaka in the capital’s Uttara.
On the first day, the viewers will witness the performance of Gary Husband, an English jazz and rock drummer, pianist and bandleader. In addition to Gary Husband, Bangladeshi Armeen Musa, New York’s Oz Noy Group, and Deepak & Friends will perform at the event.
On the other hand, SAD Trio, Jakob Dinesen, An All Star Celebration of the Music of Miles Davis, Ranjit Barot and ‘Slang’, Soulmate and Lurrie Bell’s Chicago Blues Band will perform on the other two days.
Starting at 7pm every day, the three- day festival has been organised by Blues Communications in association with IFIC Bank, with the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources as its strategic partner.
