Zahid Hasan in Lavlu’s Eid telefilm

Popular actor Zahid Hasan will be seen in an Eid special telefilm directed by renowned director Salauddin Lavlu titled ‘What Is Your Father’s Name?’, written by Shah Md. Naymul Karim. Zahid Hasan has played the main role in the telefilm. The shooting has been completed in Pubail on Thursday. Through this telefilm, Zahid Hasan has acted under Salauddin Lavlu’s direction after two years. Other casts of the telefilm are Raisul Islam Asad, Abdullah Rana, Rajib Salehin, Tahsin, among others. Zahid Hasan last worked under  Lavlu’s direction in ‘Learned Man’ and ‘School of Politics’. He shared his thoughts about working with the veteran director once again, “Salauddin Lavlu and I are like family. He is like my older brother. I have been to his hometown of Kushtia. That is why I am personally very close to him. He is a great human being, an immensely talented director, extraordinary actor and an excellent cinematographer. I always have a great time working with him. I am very hopeful about this Eid telefilm.”
Salauddin Lavlu shared his thoughts, “Zahid Hasan is such an established actor that there is nothing new to say about him. He worked with me for the first time for a tele-drama where the shooting took place in Kushtia and I remember that during the shooting, every day about 5000 people used to gather around to get a glimpse of Zahid Hasan. I was very proud with that sight. I used to think that this is our Zahid Hasan for whom so many people have come together to see him. The love of the people that Zahid Hasan has received over the years is what made him today’s Zahid Hasan. For this Eid telefilm, I could think of no one else. That is why I took his schedule three months ago. He did extraordinary acting for this Eid telefilm.”
For this Eid, Salauddin Lavlu-directed tele-dramas ‘Iti Mirzafar’, ‘Love Maane Bhalobasa’, ‘Koyna’ will be aired on various satellite television channels. Zahid Hasan-directed  seven-episode Eid drama serial ‘Eid Mubarak’, tele-drama ‘Marshall’ will be aired, along with tele-dramas and telefilms in which Zahid Hasan has acted.
