Imran sings title song of drama serial for first time

Popular singer-musician Imran, who has already made an admirable position in the music industry through his performance in playback, album and stage show, has lent his vocal to the title song of a drama serial for the first time. DhakaLive has news that Imran sang the song for the ongoing drama serial titled ‘Life in a Metro’. The drama serial has been written by Rudra Mahfuz and directed by BU Shuvo. The recording of the song was completed in a studio in the city’s Moghbazar area on Monday. The song titled ‘Bhugol Theke Google Mape Close Cameray Chepe Dhakay Dilam Uki’ is penned down by three-time National Film Award winning lyricist Kabir Bakul, while Kishore Das has done its music arrangement.
Imran said about singing the song, “I tried to sing title song for drama serial earlier, but everything did not match accordingly. This time around, I have liked the lyric, tune and everything about the song for BU Shuvo’s daily soap. That is why, I have sung it. I hope that the audience will find something new in me here, which is a new music arena for me, and they will like it.” Director BU Shuvo informed that 38th episode of the drama serial was aired yesterday. Imran’s song will be heard in an upcoming episode that will be aired on April 1. To note, ‘Life in a Metro’ is currently being aired every Sunday to Thursday at 9:20pm on ATN Bangla.
