Shubho Mahurat of �Shikari� held

Shubho Mahurat of ‘Shikari’--a joint venture film, set to be produced by Bangladesh’s Jazz Multimedia and Eskay Movies of Kolkata--was held Monday evening at the Westin Hotel in the capital. Celebrated Tollywood heroine Srabanti is going to pair up with Bangladesh’s Shakib Khan for the first time with the film and its shooting will start from March 14 in Kolkata. Monday’s event was attended by Ashok Dhanuka of Eskay Movies, Bangladeshi filmmakers Sohanur Rahman Sohan, Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar and Mostafa Sarwar Farooki. West Bengal’s actor Om was also present during the programme. Besides, actors Amit Hasan, Jolly, Rebeka, Shiba Shanu and singers Kona, Shafiq Tuhin, Kishor, Imran and Lemis, among others, were also present. The dialogue and screenplay of the film have been jointly written by Abdullah Jahir Babu from Bangladesh and Pele Chatterjee of India. The film will be directed jointly by Bangladesh’s Shimanta and Kolkata’s Joydev.
