PM mourns death of ex-MP Ashrafunnesa

UNB, Dhaka

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina yesterday expressed deep shock at the death of former president of Bangladesh Mahila Awami League, former MP and freedom fighter Ashrafunnesa Mosharraf.

In a condolence message, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed her deepest shock at the death of former President of Bangladesh Mahila Awami League.

She also prayed for the salvation of the departed soul and expressed her deep sympathy towards the bereaved family members.

The former MP Ashrafunnesa Mosharraf passed away in a city hospital yesterday morning at the age of 74.

Ashrafunnesa Mosharraf breathed her last at Square Hospital where she has been undergoing treatment due to kidney-related ailments.

She left behind three sons, four daughters and a host of relatives, colleagues and admirers.
