Noor Imran Mithu’s directorial debut ‘Komola Rocket’ (The Orange Ship), a film based on the Bangla Academy Award winning writer Shahaduzzaman’s stories ‘Moulik’ and ‘Saipras’, is now available on Netflix for the audiences around the world. Apparently, this is the third film from Bangladesh which saw its release on Netfilx. Now, the viewers can enjoy the film any time on Netflix for the next five years.
Produced by Impress Telefilm, the lead roles of ‘Komola Rocket’ are played by Tauquir Ahmed and Lux-Channel i Super Star contestant Samiya, while Mosharraf Karim is seen as an agent. The story of the film revolves around a steamer in the name of Rocket. To note, among 39 countries subscribed to Netflix, ‘Komola Rocket’ is currently available in 11 countries which include Bangladesh, South Africa, Israel, India, Russia, Luxembourg, Panama, Ireland, USA (United States of America), Canada and UK (United Kingdom).
