Mamo waiting for ‘Dahan’

Soon after the release of its trailer last Thursday, young filmmaker Raihan Rafi’s ‘Dahan’ has been receiving very positive reaction from the audience. Within two days, the trailer has already got about three lakh views on YouTube and more than four thousand comments, mostly very inspiring for the team ‘Dahan’. The film is set for countrywide release on November 30.

National Film Award winning actress Zakia Bari Mamo has played as a journalist, a very challenging role, in ‘Dahan’. Witnessing the feedback of the viewers, the actress is very optimistic about the film and she now firmly believes that the audience will come to cinema halls to enjoy the film.

Mamo said, “Since the release of the trailer of ‘Dahan’, I have been receiving very positive response from the viewers, especially from my nearest and dearest ones. Many fans and well-wishers informed me in Facebook that they are waiting for the release of the film. I can’t also think of any other thing right now, but only ‘Dahan’.”

“Our film ‘Dahan’ is made with a very well-timed story and I am also waiting very passionately to watch it on the big screen. I hope that it would be one of the muck-talked-about films coming to the theatre at the very end of the year”, Mamo added.

Mamo is currently busy with the campaign of the film. She said, “I want from my heart that the viewers would come to cinema halls to watch the film. So, I am trying to participate in the promotional activities of the film.”
