New Nazrul Sangeet album by Shusmita Anis released

‘Shishirer Sporshe Gatha’ or ‘Sound of Seasons’, the new music album of Nazrul songs by popular singer Shusmita Anis, dedicated to the loving memory of her legendary aunt Feroza Begum, was released on August 13. The album, containing an array of ten Nazrul songs, was released by New Music Paradigm Company.
Present at the launching ceremony for the album were Asaduzzaman Noor MP, Honorable Minister for Cultural Affairs, Government of Bangladesh as chief guest., and M. Asafuddowlah, former Secretary, Government of Bangladesh and former editor, Bangladesh Today as the special Guest. Music director Ibrar Tipu did the music composition for the album. Overall supervision of the making of the album was done by renowned tabla player Syed Meher Hossain. The album has been officially released on August 13 in a grand launch at the local hotel.
With the release of the album, Shusmita Anis, who is the niece of the Nazrul legend Feroza Begum, starts her musical journey in promoting and popularizing Nazrul Sangeet, while following the legacy of her aunt.
‘Sound of Seasons’ is to be marketed by G-series, online distribution by New York based digital distribution company ME Label, mobile content distribution by Gakk Media (BD) Ltd., and digital marketing by Canada based Vitizo Corporation.
