Siam to make film debut with ‘Poramon 2’

Challenging actor Siam is going to take a new challenge in his acting career. This time he will be seen playing the lead role in a film titled ‘Poramon 2’. ‘Poramon 2’ is the sequel to the 2013 hit film ‘Poramon’, which was directed by Zakir Hoassain Raju. Saimon and Mahia Mahi acted in ‘Poramon’.

This time Jazz Multimedia is making ‘Poramon 2’ with a star cast Siam and Puja Cherry. It seems that Dhallywood is getting a new hero.

Directed by Raihan Rafi, the shooting of the film is scheduled to begin today. To take part in the 34-day shooting of the film in Meherpur and Kushtia, Siam left Dhaka yesterday.

This will be Siam’s first-ever big screen appearance. He will play the role of Sujon Shah in the film. About his acting in the film, Siam said: “My parents did not support my acting career from the beginning. But at the end I did not disappoint them. Thus, I have taken time to prove myself in the film. I hope they won’t be disappointed.”

“The understanding with director Raihan Rafi has become quite enjoyable. Film industry is a new place for me and big-screen is the medium to reach to the all type of audience.  After the announcement that I am going to work in film, everyone is welcoming me in such a way that increases my self confidence. I take it as my responsibility to do well”, he added.

Siam is praised for his roles in telefilms like ‘Bhalobasha 101’, ‘Bokhate’, R’oom Date’ and others.
