Nazifa Tushi in new venture

After becoming the first runner up in ‘Lux Channel i Superstar’ beauty pageant, young model-actress Nazifa Tushi had decided that she would not work in any teledramas; rather she will act in the films and television commercials (TVC) only. Just after the competition, she worked in her debut film ‘Ice Cream’ directed by talented filmmaker Redwan Rony in the last year. Now this time around, she will not appear in a film or TVC rather she will be seen to perform in a short musical film titled ‘Na’.
The interesting thing is that like her debut film ‘Ice Cream’, Tushi will act in the musical opposite of two newbie actors. Among them, one is an actor another one is a singer.
Talking about the musical Tushi said that in the film ‘Na’ ramp model Iftekhar Zayeb and rock singer Rony will act opposite of her.  The musical film has been made based on a mellow rock song ‘Na’. Sung by Rony, the song has been written, composed and arranged by Vikings band member Setu Chowdhury. Mustafi Shimul has transformed the song into musical film and directed it. About acting opposite of two heroes Tushi said, “This is interesting that, this time I have to share the screen with two heroes. But there is little bit change. Among two heroes, one is an actor and the other one is a singer. First of all, the song ‘Na’ is my favourite. On top of that, the story is also great. So I will consider it as a short film.” Talking about the muysical, singer Rony said, “We actually wanted to move one step forward from the traditional music video. We had an endeavour to make a short film based on a song.” The short film ‘Na’ will be released on CMV YouTube channel and different satellite television channel on March 28.
