Audience-admired actress Chitralekha Guha is spending busy time these days as she has her hands full with three new drama serials. DhakaLive has news that the shooting of one of the drama serials titled ‘Megher Palak’, written by Shyamol Bhaduri and directed by Kaiser Ahmed, is currently taking place. A portion of the shooting of another drama serial titled ‘Eki Kando’, written by Kamrul Hasan and directed by Shimul Sarkar has been completed. From January onwards, the drama serial ‘Ektuku Choya Laage’, directed by Shafikul Islam Ripon will begin airing on Banglavision. Chitralekha Guha will be seen playing different types of roles in each of the drama serials.
The popular actress shared her thoughts about her works, “I try to bring something different in my getup for each of the drama serials. I always put extra thought as to what type of getup will be required after reading each story. I prefer working according to the director’s requirements because I feel that as far as my character is concerned, the director will know better. I always act, keeping the type of direction in mind and always give full effort as far as acting is concerned.”
To note, Chitralekha Guha first acted by appearing in a short film titled ‘Poth’, directed by Masud Bagi in 1992. In 1994, she acted in Sheikh Neyamat Ali’s film ‘Onnojibon’. After that, she acted in Shah Alam Kiron’s ‘Moner Milon’, Nasir Khan’s ‘Swapner Nayak’, Tanvir Mokammel’s ‘Lalon’, ‘Laal Salu’, ‘Rabeya’, ‘Jibonduli’, Shah Alam Kiron’s ’71 er Ma Jononi’, Tonmoy Tansen’s ‘Padma Patar Jal’ and Rikia Masud’s ‘The Story of Samara’.
