Suspected Neo-JMB man held in Gazipur

The Anti-Terrorism Unit (ATU) of Bangladesh Police in an overnight raid in Great Wall City Bazar area under Basan police station of Gazipur arrested one suspected member of Neo-Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (Neo-JMB), a banned militant outfit.

“Based on intelligence, an ATU team arrested a Neo-JMB operative named Md Abdullah Al Noman Khan from Great Wall City Bazar area around 4:35 am today,” said a media release.

Two mobile phone sets, some extremist booklets including an explosives-making one, seized from him, said the press release signed by ATU police super (Media and Awareness) Mohammad Aslam Khan.
