Konstantin Tsiolkovsky’s 163rd birth anniv celebrated

The Russian Center for Science and Culture (RCSC), Dhaka and Bangladesh Astronomical Association (BAA) jointly organized an online seminar marking the 163rd birth anniversary of Russian (Soviet) scientist and founder of cosmonautics Konstantin Tsiolkovsky on September 18, according to a press release.

The participants discussed the decisive role of Konstantin Tsiolkovsky (September 17, 1857 – September 19, 1935) in the exploration of outer space and rocket science. They also thanked the RCSC for holding regular educational events with interesting information about the achievements of Russian science.
