Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation organised a 10 day long National School Kabaddi Competition for boys and girls at Kuliarchar upazila of Kishoreganj, marking the 100th birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on Sunday. Upazila secondary school students are participating in this competition.
Nazmul Hasan Papan, MP, Kishoreganj-6 and president of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) inaugurated the kabaddi competition as the chief guest. Habibur Rahman, deputy inspector general (DIG) of Bangladesh Police, Dhaka range and senior vice-president of Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation was present at the programme.
Among other, Kishoreganj district ASP (Administration), Nazmul Islam Sopan, ASP (crime) Md Mizanur Rahman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Kuliarchar Police Station Abdul Oli Talukder, vice chairman of Upazila Parishad Syed Noor Alam, women vice chairman Sayeda Khanam Mukta, assistant commissioner (Land) Farhana Rahman, affiliated organisations, including the Awami League leaders and government and non-governmental organisation staffs were present at the inaugural programme.
The competition will continue till December 25.
