Tutul’s band to release 20 songs soon

National Film Award winning singer and music director SI Tutul and his band, Dhrubatara, are set to release 20 original songs on YouTube soon.

The lyrics have been penned by noted lyricists Kabir Bokul, Kayes Chowdhury, Bappi Khan, Ranju Reza, Latiful Islam Shibli, Liton Ghosh Joy, Robiul Islam Jibon and Zahid Akber.

The songs are scheduled to be released on SI Tutul’s YouTube channel titled ‘SI Tutul Original’. DhakaLive has news that the Dhrubatara has already begun work on the songs.

SI Tutul was very upset with the recent demise of his mentor, the legendary rock star Ayub Bachchu, who was a huge influence on his music career.

“I was in the US when Ayub Bachchu passed away. We stayed side by side for 17 years. I am still upset over his death. Now, I am working hard to make Dhrubatara great. Ayub Bachchu had high hopes about the band and I am trying to fulfil his dreams. I seek blessings from everyone in this regard.”

Moreover, Tutul, along with his band Dhrubatara, is going to perform in stage shows in Shylet, Dhaka, Tangail and Gazipur for the next few days.

The line-up of Tutul’s band Dhrubatara includes Partho Majumder (bass guitar), Mujib (drums), Selimuzzaman (lead guitar), Babu (flute), Nadim (keyboard) and SI Tutul (vocal, second line guitar). l
