DHAKA: It was a sleepless night for five year old Megh, the only son of the journalist couple- Sagar Sarwar and Mehrun Runi - killed on early Saturday.

Last night he did not sleep, thinking that his mother or father would be there to cuddle him to sleep as they used to do since his birth. He is yet to understand that his parents would never return.

Whenever the calling bell rings, little Megh rushed to the door thinking that it might be his father or mother waiting in front of the door.

But every time he becomes dejected as no bell was from his parents.

Mehrun’s mother was telling this while describing the present state of Megh.

Even when he saw his grandmother was shedding tears, he asked her whether she was crying for his parents.

“I had to tell him that I was crying due to my headache” Runi’s mother said..
