Eid has always been a magical time for the film industries to experience a booming business. On the occasion of Eid, film lovers visit the cinema halls and celebrate the grand event by watching their favourite films with their family and friends. We are just one day away from Eid celebrations and a number of Bangla films have already been lined up at the box office to be released countrywide on the occasion.
Popular pair Shakib and Apu Biswas is one of the main attractions among the moviegoers on Eid celebrations. Making no difference with the previous occasions, ‘Love Marriage’ starring Shakib Khan and Apu will be released in the prominent cinema halls across the country. Directed by Shahin summon, the film is centred on Shakib Khan, who will be seen playing a role of Old Dhakaiya. He upholds the tradition of his previous generations, wearing white shirt, lungi and using local dialect of old Dhaka. Produced under the production house Heartbeat, the film is expected to make a new dimension with its countrywide release in more than 100 cinemas.
On the other hand, audience-admired actress Mahia Mahi’s most talked about film ‘Agnee 2’ will be released countywide in more than 100 cinema halls, including Star Cineplex, Jamuna Blockbuster, Shaymoli Cineplex, Modhumoti, Soni, Purnima, Sainik club. The film has been jointly produced by Jazz Multimedia, a Bangladeshi production house and Indian production house, Eskay Movies. The film stars Indian Actor Om, Ashish Vidyarthi and Robiul Islam in pivotal roles. In the film ‘Agnee 2’, Mahi will be seen playing an action role as like the previous film ‘Agnee’.
Talented actress Bidya Sinha Saha Mim-acted film ‘Padma Patar Jol’, directed by Tonmoy Tansen, will be released across the country in around 30 cinemas amid its huge campaign. Mim paired up with popular actor Emon to play two unique roles of colonial times. The Dhaka audience will get the opportunity to watch the film in Star Cineplex, Jamuna Blockbuster, Bolaka cinema hall, Rajmoni, Ananda, Sangit and Mini Gulshan. l
