Lux superstar-famed actress Bidya Sinha Saha Mim will be seen playing a unique role in her new film titled ‘Daag’, which will be directed by Tarik Sikdar. Mim will appear as an artist opposite actor Bappi in the film. DhakaLive has news that the shooting of the film will begin either from 7 or 9 February. Other casts of the film include Aruna Biswas, Shatabdi Wahdud, Selim Reza, among others. The popular actress has been waiting for a film with a solid story, and it seems that her wish has been granted through ‘Daag’. She spoke further about the film and her role, “The kind of film that I was eagerly waiting for, ‘Daag’ is just that type. I will be playing an artist and her name is Sohana, who is a mild mannered quiet girl. I will be in the getup of an artist to properly portray the role and have been taking a lot of preparations to fit myself into this role.” “When I was young, I loved to paint. However, due to circumstances, I could not go forward with it. However, I always had a soft spot and fondness for painting. That is why when I heard about the role that I will be playing in ‘Daag’, I was really excited”, she further added. To note, Mim and Bappi earlier acted together in the movie ‘Sweetheart’, in which they paired up for the first time. Directed by Wajed Ali Sumon, the film will see its release on February 12.
