Perfect winged eyeliner for instant makeup

The perfect eye makeup can instantly amp up our mood and elevate the beauty quotient. And when we talk about eye makeup, how can we ever forget the classic winged eyeliner look, which has been a part of our beauty repertoire since forever?

For beauty lovers, getting that perfect winged eyeliner look is everything. From the '80s dramatic look to Taylor Swift's redefinition of the winged eyeliner, we have seen a whole evolution of the trend.

While aiming for the perfect look, you need to identify your eye shape and then accordingly apply the liner for the perfect wing. Well, worry not, we are here with a foolproof eyeliner guide that will help in getting the perfect winged eyeliner for every eye shape.

1.Round eyes

Considering your eye type before beginning with makeup is very important. If you can see around the iris of your eye on both the upper and lower portion that means you have round eyes. For circular eyes start from the outer side (corner) above your eye and then fill the inward area. You can also go bold on the colour choice of your eyeliner. Then with an angled brush or a liquid liner, draw a line downward towards the outer corner, for the perfect winged liner look.

2.Hooded yes

For people with hooded eyes, it is hard to see the crease of your eyelids but that doesn't mean that you cannot rock a wonderful, winged liner look, all you need is the perfect technique. First and foremost, create the outer wing tip where the hood of your lid starts, then apply a liner towards the inner corner of your eye with a thin lining. If you want to opt for a bolder look, then layer it on with another coloured liner.

3.Small eyes

If you have small eyes, then this hack is just perfect for you. Pick your favourite eyeliner and line along the top lash line, then afterwards do the outer third of the bottom lash line and carefully taper it upwards. For small eyes, thin liners always elevate the look. You can always add some drama to your beauty look with mascara and for a bolder look you can even opt for colourful mascaras.

4.Almond Shaped eyes

If you have oval-shaped eyes, it is probably almond-shaped eyes. The best part about these eyes is the lid space as you can make the most of it. For your eyes, the best way to do the winged liner look is by starting to apply the liner along the line of the lash line from the inner corner to outwards then flick it out, (however you like it) stopping at the tip where the crease starts.
