Kumar Bishwajit and Chanchal Chowdhury are celebrating their birthday today. Winners of National Film Awards as singer and actor, respectively, they have made a name for themselves.

Kumar Bishwajit considered as an evergreen singer-musician in the country’s music arena due to his singing skills, while Chanchal is a multitalented artiste, known for his performances in theatre, television and film.

On this occasion, Kumar Bishwajit has no plans to spend the birthday in a grand manner.

He, however, said that he cut his birthday cake with his son at midnight.

“My wife will return to the country on June 5. After that, I celebrate my birthday in a homely manner. But my son has brought a cake for me and it gave me immense pleasure,” he also said.

“I would like to say many happy returns of the day to Chanchal. He is a versatile actor and can portray any character through God-given talent,” he added.

On the other hand, Chanchal Chowdhury spent his birthday morning with his parents as his parents came from Pabna and will be spending the rest of the day outside the country with his family.

“Biswa Da (Kumar Bishwajit) is one of my favourite singers. An artist like him comes once in a lifetime. So, new artists must follow in his footsteps,” he said.

“I am spending my birthday outside the country with my family. But I got the chance to meet my parents on my birthday— it was great. I seek blessings from everyone,” he added.      

DhakaLive has news that Kumar Bishwajit and Chanchal Chowdhury have recently met at the singer’s house ‘Nibir Aloy’ in Uttara of the capital, where they talked about their journey and spent the day in their own way.
