Several hundred admission seekers yesterday demanded resignation of Health Minister Mohammad Nasim and scrapping the results of admission tests of the medical colleges under the 2015-16 academic session. The admission seekers also demanded a retake of the medical and dental tests alleging question paper leak. The agitating students came up with the demands after forming a human chain and holding a rally in front of Chittagong Press Club. The protesting students alleged that the questions were available by Thursday night, a day ahead of the examinations. Chanting various slogans demanding cancellation of the examinations, the agitating students blocked roads at Gulzar intersection at Chawkbazar in the city for about an hour. Carrying festoons and placards, they termed the examinations a farce and vowed to carry on with the movement until their legitimate demands were met. Aziz Ahmed, officer-in-charge of Chawkbazar police station, said that the agitation of the students triggered traffic congestion.
