CHITTAGONG: A mobile court of Chittagong District Administration yesterday fined six pharmacies Tk 65,000 for stocking date-expired medicines, selling doctor’s sample and unapproved foreign medicines in shop. The court, led by Chittagong administrative magistrate and deputy revenue collector Ruhul Amin, conducted the drive in Dewangi Pukur Lane and KB Fazlul Kader road areas of the city and fined the pharmacies. District Administration sources said the court fined Damodar Medical Hall Tk 5,000, Sayed Pharmacy Tk 10, 000, New Medicine Centre Tk 10,000 and Rowshan Medicine Tk 10,000, Medicine Point Tk 20, 000, People’s Pharmacy Tk 10, 000.
