CHUADANGA: The construction works of two-storey academic buildings with four-storey foundation each in five degree colleges of the district are now near completion, reports BSS.Education Engineering Department has been implementing the construction works spending Taka 6.72 crore.About 95 percent construction works of all the six academic buildings have been completed and the rest works are expected to be completed by next month, said Subrato Kumar Pal, assistant engineer of the department.The academic buildings which are being constructed are Dr Afsarudding Degree College of Sadar upazila, SM Zoha Degree College and Niger Siddique Degree College of Alamdanga uazila, Wadud Shah Degree College of Damurhuda upazila and Jibannagar Degree College of Jibannagar upazila.After completion of the academic buildings, accommodation problems of 1,800 students of all the colleges would be solved, the Engineer added.
