Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader yesterday said that the Teesta treaty is in final stage.Talking with the journalists at the sideline of the inauguration programmne of Kamrun Nahar Secondary and Higher Secondary girls school at Kabirhaat in Noakhali, Quader said, the agreement might be finalised at any given time.“Like Ganga agreement, an agreement for Teesta can be made by following all the international rules and regulation,” he said. Quader, who is also the secretary general of the ruling Awami League said, the BNP is jealous of the achievement of Awami League government.“Now they are trying to generate propaganda that the Teesta Agreement will not take place. I am telling you that if the agreement is not being made in the Prime Minister’s upcoming visit to India, it will be made later. But it will be made for sure.”
