A two-member delegation of Kuwait armed forces visited the Trust Technical Training Institute (TTTI) in Gazipur, which is operated by Bangladesh Army, yesterday morning.
They visited the institute for feasibility study to recruit skilled manpower from Bangladesh Army to Kuwait armed forces.
Principal of the institute Lieutenant colonel (retd) Asadur Rahman Khan welcomed the delegation, led by colonel Salah Saud AL –Azmee, and briefed them about TTTI’s training and activities at the conference room of the institute.
They praised the TTTI's training programme. Principal, vice-principal, instructors and officials of the institute were present.
Principal of the Trust Technical Training Institute (TTTI) Lieutenant Colonel (retd) Asadur Rahman Khan said if the Kuwait armed forces recruit skilled and trained manpower from Bangladesh Army, it will open a new door of exporting skilled manpower in Kuwait. He said, “We are continuing our efforts and trying the best for this purpose.
It is mentionable that several thousand members of the Bangladesh Army (Armed and civilian) were employed in Kuwait Armed Forces in the past few years under ‘Skilled Technical Manpower’ in Kuwait”.
The delegation will visit various establishments of Bangladesh Army during their 5 days visit in Bangladesh. They will assess the feasibility of a new development in the relationship between the two countries.
They also visited the Bangladesh Machine Tools Factory (BMTF) in Gazipur before visiting TTTI on Wednesday.
