‘Chapabaj’ to portray hilarious activities of two families

Hasan Jahangir’s star-studded drama serial on air from first week of November

Throughout the years, audience-admired actor-director Hasan Jahangir has presented the viewers many popular tele-dramas and drama serials. An example of this would be the highly acclaimed-drama serial titled ‘Boyra Paribar’, which received immense appreciation from the viewers. Now, keeping the viewers in mind, he has written and directed a new mega drama serial titled ‘Chapabaj’. The shooting of the first phase of the drama serial has already been completed in Pubail in the outskirts of the capital. DhakaLive has news that ‘Chapabaj’ is a star-studded drama serial as its cast includes Ekushey Padak winning actor ATM Shamsuzzaman, evergreen actress Sujata, Dr Enamul Haque, Ferdousi Lina and Shabnam Parvin. In addition, Hasan Jahangir himself will also be playing a pivotal role in the drama serial.  The drama serial falls under the comedy genre, and revolves around the hilarious activities of two families.
Regarding acting in the drama serial, ATM Shamsuzzaman said, “I appeared in more than ten various projects by Hasan Jahangir before such as ‘Boyra Paribar’, ‘Ranger Duniya’ and ‘Kotha Kaje Mil Nai’, among others. He does his work with a lot of care. I really like the story of this new drama serial and I hope the viewers have a good experience and appreciate it.” Sujata said, “I do limited work nowadays as I am quite selective. ‘Chapabaj’ is the kind of story, which I found to be quite different from the others and that is why, I agreed to work in it. I can say with certainty that the viewers will appreciate it.” Ferdousi Lina said, “He does the work with utmost care. Since it is a comedy drama serial, we had a lot of fun working in it and everyone had a very grand time. The rest is all up to the viewers.” Dr Enamul Haque said, “The script is excellent and that is the reason why we went outside the city with a lot of enthusiasm to do the work. The viewers prefer such type of comedy genre.” Hasan Jahangir informed that ‘Chapabaj’ will start airing from the first week of November on Boishakhi TV.
