Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) affiliated Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) yesterday staged a human chain in front of Jatiya Press Club yesterday demanding arrest of those who are involved in giving death threat to the country’s 25 eminent citizens including JSD President and Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu, reports BSS. JSD-BCL President Muhammad Samsul Alam Sumon said militants patronised by Jamaat-Shibir have been threatening the country’s distinguish citizens to kill them at different times and they had (militant) killed several bloggers. “It is very painful that they (militants) are yet to be brought to book,” he added. While speaking JSD-BCL general secretary Shahjahan Ali demanded of quickly identifying those who gave death threat to the eminent citizens. “It is high time to uproot the militant groups from the society, otherwise these groups would get moreopportunities to carry out such kind of incidents,” he added.
