Water levels in 33 river stations monitored by Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked rises and 46 stations recorded falls, reports BSS. Among the 84 monitored water level stations, three river stations have been registered steady and one river station registered above danger mark, a bulletin issued by FFWC said here yesterday. The Kansha river at Jariajanjail is flowing its danger level by 38cm. The Brahmaputra-Jamuna and Surma-Kushiyara rivers are in falling trend while the Ganges-Padma are in rising trend. Flood situation in Netrokona district may further improve in next 24 hours. Significant rainfall was recorded in some stations in different districts during the last 24 hours ending at 6 am yesterday.
