3 women held with 50,000 yaba tablets

Cox’s Bazar: Police arrested three women, including two from the Rohingya  community, with 50,000 pieces of yaba tablets from Najirpara village of the bank of Naf River in Teknaf upazila early yesterday, reports UNB. The arrested were identified as Nasima Akter, 20, a resident of the village, and two Rohingya women - Rofita Begum, 20, and Taslima Begum, 18. Officer-in-charge of Teknaf police station Ataur Rahman said tipped-off, a team of police, led by Jasim Uddin, Ukhiya assistant superintendent of police, conducted a raid at the house of Abdur Rahman in the area and arrested the trio at about 1:30 am.
