Salauddin Lavlu to appear on screen this Eid

For the older generation television viewers, the name Salauddin Lavlu is synonymous with actor as well as director. The older generation fans identify him as both. Salauddin Lavlu has an opinion. Since he has been more regular behind the camera as a director than in front of it as an actor, the newer generation viewers might not recognise the actor Salahuddin Lavlu. Keeping that in mind, Salahuddin Lavlu will be acting this time around in several Eid tele-dramas. DhakaLive has news that very recently, he has completed the work for a tele-drama titled ‘Mister Pashan Is Back’, written by Mezbaur Rahman Sumon and directed Himel Ashraf and another tele-drama titled ‘Disturb’, directed by Ishtiaque Ahmed Rumel. Sabila Nur and Ashna Habib will be acting opposite Lavlu in the two tele-dramas. Lavlu informed that he is also supposed to act in another tele-drama by Ishtiaque Ahmed Rumel and one by Nurul Alam Atik. Also, he began the work yesterday for a six-episode drama serial titled ‘Love Mane Bhalobasha’, written by Bundaban Das. The shooting took place in Pubail in the outskirts of the capital. Chanchal Chowdhury, Shahnaz Khushi, Akham Hossain, Nisha, Shirin Alam, among others, will be acting in the drama serial, which will be aired on a satellite television channel this Eid. Salahuddin Lavlu said, “I am always busy with directorial work throughout the year. That is why it was not possible for me to get the attention and focus that is required to act in front of the camera as I am so busy with directing. However, acting is something that I love extremely. The fact that actor Salauddin Lavlu has a place in the minds of the viewers is something that I want to retain. Even though I do not act as regularly, but when I do, I give it my 100%.”
‘Mister Pashan Is Back’ and ‘Disturb’ will be aired during Eid on RTV and Banglavision respectively.
