BNP not a pro-liberation party: Shipping Minister

Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan yesterday called upon all to be vocal against those who hurt the spirit of the Liberation War, reports BSS. "BNP and Jamaat had plotted to foil the spirit of the Liberation War. We have resisted their plot with unity," he said speaking at a reception accorded by Awami Muktijo­ddha Prajanma League at Segunbagicha Swadhinata Hall in the capital. Shipping minister's father Moulavi Asmat Ali Khan awarded Swadhinata Padak posthumously in 2016 and his father-in-law Syed Golam Kibria got the Ekushey Padak posthumously.
