Trishal UNO killed in road crash

The upazila nirbahi officer (UNO) of Trishal was killed in a road accident on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway at Boilor in the upazila yesterday afternoon, reports UNB. Officer-in-charge of Trishal Police Station M Moniruzzaman said the accident took place as a bus hit the motorcycle of UNO Rashedul Islam, 37, from behind around 5:45pm while he was returning from the office, leaving him critically injured. He was taken to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
