Fake cop arrested

OUR CORRESPONDENT, Jhenidah

Police arrested a fake policeman from Paira Chattar in Jhenidah yesterday. Police also seized a private car, a cross belt, a baton and a whistle from his possession. Officer-in-charge of Jhenidah Sadar police station Biplab Deb Nath said the arrested man was identified as Rakib Hossain, 24, of Kotchandpur upazila in Jhenidah. Police caught him red handed in front of UCB Ltd where he was trying fool a bank client, he added.
