The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 yesterday set January 15, 2016, for submitting report of investigation into the crimes allegedly committed by the six Razakars from Netrokona, reports BSS.
Justice Anwarul Haque, chairman of the three-member panel of ICT- 1, set the date as prosecutor Tapas Kanti Baul submitted progress report on probe this morning.
The tribunal came up with the order as the young prosecutor sought two months more time for submitting the probe report.
The six accused are- Abdur Rahman, 68, Sheikh Md Abdul Majid, 67, Md A Khalek Talukder, 67, Kabir Khan, 70, Md Nuruddin, 70, and Salam Beigh, 65.
The initial list of accused actually had one more name, Ahammed Ali, 72, and he had also been arrested along with Rahman. But Ahammed later died in police custody.
