CHITTAGONG: A court here sent a Juba Dal leader to jail after rejecting his bail prayer on charge of vandalising and torching vehicles on February in 2015. The accused was Mosharraf Hossain Dipti, Chittagong city Juba Dal Secretary. Chittagong Metropolitan Magistrate Nure Alam Bhuiyan passed the order. Advocate Nazim Uddin, counsel of the defendant, said that Mosharraf Hossain Dipti surrendered before the court yesterday. “We prayed for his bail to the court. However, the court ordered to send him jail,” added the lawyer. Meawhile, Mosharraf Hossain Dipti was also Chittagong city president of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD).
