The main Eid-ul-Azha prayer will be held at the National Eidgah on the High Court premises in the capital at 8 am on Friday, reports BSS. However, the venue of the Eid congregation will be shifted to Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in case of inclement weather. President Abdul Hamid, top judges, Cabinet ministers, MPs, politicians and people from all walks of life will join the congregation there. Beside, five Eid congregations will be held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, said an official handout yesterday. At Baitul Mukarram, the prayers will be held at 7 am, 8 am, 9 am, 10 am and 10.45 am. A congregation will be held at the south plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban at 7.30 am. Whips of the Jatiya Sangsad, Parliament members, officials and employees of the Jatiya Sangsad Secretariat will participate at the prayer. Two Eid congregations will be held at Dhaka University Central Mosque at 8 am and 9 am. Eid-ul-Azha prayer will be held on the premises of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) at 6.45 am. In case of any inclement weather, the prayer would be shifted to BUET central mosque at 7 am, said a BUET release.
